National Pavillions: Joint Forces
At Europort Istanbul 2009, companies from various countries will join forces in a collective presentation. Denmark, Korea, Romania and the Netherlands have confirmed that they will each have a national pavilion. British companies are also expected to exhibit on a joint basis. Henk Gennissen from the Holland Marine Equipment Association is the coordinator of the Dutch national pavilion. “Participation in Europort Istanbul is so important because it is the maritime trade fair where representatives from all the shipbuilding yards in Turkey and other emerging shipbuilding regions such as Bulgaria, Romania, the Ukraine, Greece and the Arabian Gulf will be present. For this reason, we are taking a 200m2 pavilion in a prominent position at Europort Istanbul 2009,” says Gennissen.
